“The outside sells the inside.” Covers sell books. If your cover is not compelling, readers will never find how good your text is.

To post your ebook entry on  Global eBook Awards, you will need a cover in full size and thumbnail; in .TIF, .JPG and PDF. Your cover artist will supply the files.

Each artist has a different style. Visit their websites to see samples of their work. Find a style that will fit your eBook and appeal to your audience.

Back covers are important too. While eBooks don’t have back covers, they do need sales copy to describe what is in the eBook. Use our paint-by-numbers back cover outline and fill in the boxes. Get Document 116, Book Cover Worksheet (free) by clicking here. You will use the verbiage and order to describe your eBook when you post it to Smashwords, Amazon, etc.
