      • Thank you for the information. I started the entry process the other day and could not complete it. I did put in my registration information and have a user ID and password. However, could I please get some help to get to the correct place to put in the rest of the information ie cover, synopsis, reviews etc. Than I will make my payment.

        Thank you, Sue Tabashnik

My books still aren’t listed in a category and I don’t have a website. Have I done something wrong?? Hope not! thanks, Susan

  5. Mary Deal says:

In splitting the mystery/suspense/thriller categories, you limit mystery to solving a murder. You limit suspense/thriller to murders or intended murders. I’m under the impression suspense is more than must murders. Suspense can include, for one, people losing their lives or getting out of situations where this may happen. The action is intense, but no murder or intended murder happens. My novel, Legacy of the Tropics, is called a suspense but does not involved murders. It’s about people losing their lives and others avoiding catastrophe in the tropics. Under which category do I list my story now? It doesn’t fit with the dire action that the Action category requires. You’ve thrown me a curve.

    Thanks for any help.
    Mary

  6. Do you have a template press release for those of us nominated but not finalists or winners?

  7. Hi Joseph.

Great job with all of your hard work for the contest.

After everything gets back to normal, I hope you can answer a problem I discovered. I cannot find anything in my dashboard except an icon. When I click on it, nothing happens. I can only get into my profile.

    Thanks for your help.

Yes, this is because all authors (for your personal page) have had their access blocked while we locked the categories into place for judging. I didn’t want anyone to change their own category while judging was going on. I found out too late that some authors HAD changed their category and it created issues, but next year will be better.
