I too am honored to be a judge for the Global eBook Awards and look forward to reading.
We are honored to have you lend your expertise.
We have more than 250 (so far) judges.
That means that each book will have several judges.
The authors and publishers of nominated books are lucky to have so many industry experts reading and evaluating their books.
Great contest!
When do we know the finalist books? Does anyone know?

2012 Global eBook Award Nominees
Ebooks entered in The Global eBook Awards must go through an evaluation process in order to be nominated. All Global eBook Award Nominees will be visible under the Award Nominees section of the website approximately one week after entry, if eBook meets all qualifications. Nominated books will then be read by our judges and the Finalists and Winners will be determined. The Finalists will be listed on the website July 9, 2012 and the Winners will be announced at The Global eBook Awards Ceremony August 18, 2012 and posted on the website August 20, 2012.
Our very best wishes to all entrants in this year’s award program; we look forward to reading about your success. Our best wishes also for the awards ceremony in Santa Barbara – it should be another great night.

I too am honored that my book Do You? is a nominee in the Poetry category of the Global EBook Awards. I’m keeping my fingers crossed — Do You? was a finalist in both the New York Book Festival and The Writers Digest International Self-Published Book Awards, and I’m hoping it wins it’s category this time.
Thank you for including me.
We are honored to have our memoir “Walking for Peace, an inner journey”, the true story of our 5000-kilometer, 13-country, 13-month pilgrimage for peace, recognized as Finalist in two categories (Action/Adventure and New Age).
Our sincerest thanks to the judges and organizers of this wonderful event. We hope to meet you all soon in Santa Barbara!

What a thrill to be nominated for this award. And a real honour to be among the finalists. Santa Barbara is a long way from home (Australia) but that is the beauty of ebooks isn’t it. No geographical boundaries.
Thank you to the judges, organisers and especially to Dan Poynter. This is a real international competition which has potential for s all to understand each others worlds more fully. Just Wonderful.
Thanks Dan for the invitation to the awards. I am so excited for the winners and pleased with the endorsing of small publishers
Does a book have to be new to enter in the the 2013 contest? I pubished in 2010. It sounds like so much fun and I LOVE Santa Barbara.
Best of luck to everyone and congratulations to the winners!
The 2013 requirements will be published in September 2012.
Thank you.

I wish I could attend…if only I lived closer. Have fun everyone and good luck to all my fellow attendees. Is there a live-stream of the event somewhere that I can watch?
…I meant to say, good luck to my fellow finalists. Coffee hasn’t kicked in yet.
Best wishes to all who attended this stellar event and a special thank you to Dan Poynter and Barbara Gaughen-Muller. Although I miss him, I know my husband, James A. Bell-Cox, has enjoyed himself very much attending this event. Thank you again for a fantastic experience for all participants.
