Congrats to all finalists, in all categories! I am also one (“Schooner to the Southern Ocean” – in the real life adventure category) so I know the agonies and doubts we all went through to get here! I booked a place as soon as I could and I was really looking forward to meeting Dan and everone at long last, but sadly I suddenly have a brother who is gravely ill, so we daren’t come at this time, the family have to be together. However, I wish you all good luck and have a wonderful evening. I will raise a glass or two over here in the UK. Hope it all goes smoothly, best wishes, Gordon

It’s exciting to be involved in the early years of the Awards, and I expect the Global Ebook Awards will garner increased awareness and prestige in the coming years. My novel, Ice on the Grapevine, is a finalist in the Mystery category. I am looking forward to a fun weekend in Santa Barbara with the Awards as a highlight.

      See many of you there!
